JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The NFL Players Association on Wednesday released its annual players survey where more than 1,600 members of teams provided information to share with one another about their current club.

The results were a mixed bag for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Overall, the Jaguars ranked 18th out of 32 teams after ranking 5th the previous season.

While the team got high marks for its facilities, the Jaguars were second to last when it came to treatment of families for the 2024 season. Family treatment has been the Jaguars' lowest grade every time the NFLPA has released its survey.

This year, the Jaguars got an “F” for family treatment. Only the Cincinnati Bengals got a lower grade (F-).

The survey noted the Jaguars are one of only 10 teams that do not provide a family room during home games.

“Treatment of families is the team’s lowest graded category,” the NFLPA said. “Players believe that many changes need to be made. They would like more access to sideline passes so they can see their families pregame. During the game, players want a family room so their families can escape the heat and allow mothers to change/nurse babies. Finally, players want their post-game family area upgraded.”

Players also criticized former head coach Doug Pederson in the survey. When asked what their top improvement area would be, each of the top three answers reflected low ratings of Pederson. Players cited poor time efficiency, a lack of willingness to listen, and weak team culture. They hoped that new head coach Liam Coen would address those issues.

The team recently spent millions to upgrade the team facilities, and they continued to receive strong grades, and so did owner Shad Khan (B+).

The weight room (A), locker room (B+), training room (B+) and training staff (B-) were well received. Food and dining got a C+, 23rd in the league.
