JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 boys soccer rankings will be published every Friday during the regular season — except during Thanksgiving and Christmas week. Records are through Jan. 16 games.

Rank, school, record, classification
1. (1) Mandarin (13-0-2, Class 6A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Bartram Trail, Beachside, Chiles, Englewood, First Coast, Nease, Stanton, Wolfson (twice).
Notable: The Mustangs walloped Wolfson 6-0 for the Gateway Conference title last week, then stacked wins over Chiles (3-2) and Nease after that. Daniel Moreno, Robert Calazans and Emir Trto have Mandarin perfect entering next week’s district tournaments.
2. (2) Creekside (12-1-3, Class 7A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Englewood, Nease, Ponte Vedra, Sandalwood, St. Joseph
Notable: The Knights went 2-0-1 since our last Super 6, beating Tocoi Creek (3-2) and Yulee (6-0), then playing to a scoreless draw against Bartram Trail. They’ve got Beachside on Friday before the start of the district tournament.
3. (3) Bartram Trail (8-2-5, Class 6A)
Quality wins: Nease, Ocoee, Spruce Creek, Tocoi Creek.
Notable: The Bears had a 2-1 win over St. Augustine and a scoreless tie against No. 2 Creekside. Michael Russell has 16 goals to lead Bartram.
4. (4) Fleming Island (10-1-6, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Beachside, Buchholz, Fletcher, Nease.
Notable: The Golden Eagles keep on stacking wins. They beat Englewood and tied Bartram Trail since our last Super 6. The regular season wraps up Friday at Bolles before the district tournament. Ryker Dailey and Ethan Medlock have combined to score 23 goals. Daniel Vizcarrondo and Blake Gaucher have a combined 15 scores.
5. (6) Ponte Vedra (11-2, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Fleming Island, Nease, Oakleaf, Tocoi Creek.
Notable: The Sharks beat Stanton 6-1 in their lone game since our last Super 6. They close out the regular season Friday night at Fletcher before the district tournament.
6. (NR) Beachside (10-3-2, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Bolles, Fletcher, St. Joseph.
Notable: The Barracudas squeeze into the Super 6 with a 5-1-1 mark since December. It hasn’t been the most challenging schedule, but the two losses are to teams ahead of them in the rankings (Fleming Island, Mandarin). They wrap up the regular season Friday against Creekside.
