You are what your record says you are, and right now that means the Jags are a 2-10 football team. The Titans may not look that much better at 3-9, but they have at least played better recently. Now, I know this is a rivalry game and I think that will help the Jags play harder, it is just hard to pick them right now with Mac Jones getting the start. I think it will be close and very similar to most games this season, the Jags will make it close and just not make one more play than the Titans. — Titans 27, Jaguars 24.

Season record: 7-5.

This is a lost season and a clash of teams going nowhere except to the top of the draft board. At this point, winning only hurts the Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence is out for the season and Mac Jones is in charge. A good showing by Jones will help his stock for 2025, but Jacksonville has scored all of 13 points in his two starts. — Titans 27, Jaguars 24.

Season record: 8-4.

I had hope against the Texans last week that the Jaguars would win. They lost so much more than the game (i.e. Trevor Lawrence). I think this will be a competitive game since rivalries always bring out the best in teams, but not one the Jaguars will win. The Titans have the best pass defense in the league, but frankly the Jaguars have struggled to pass the ball this year. They’ll need to rely on their run game from Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby, which has been a bright spot this season. I’m curious to see how Calvin Ridley performs against his former team. I guess we’ll just have to see Sunday afternoon. — Titans 21, Jaguars 17.

Season record: 6-6.

‘Nuff said. The Jaguars return to the place where their playoff hopes came crashing down last year. This game won’t be nearly as dramatic but the Jags do have a knack to keep it close.— Titans 30, Jaguars 21.
