Orange Park coffee shop owner diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer celebrates triumph over disease

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – The Orange Park community honored the owner of a beloved coffee shop who triumphed over a rare form of breast cancer.

Melissa Warren and her family own the popular Urban Bean Coffeehouse Cafe on U.S. 17 and Kingsley Avenue.

She was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer after her annual mammogram screening last summer.

Warren’s hair is growing back after she received chemotherapy and radiation to fight against the aggressive cancer that has a high risk of recurrence.

To celebrate her victory, patrons, friends and family threw her party at the coffee shop on Wednesday.

She underwent a lumpectomy surgery and completed her last round of chemo and radiation on April 28.

At her last check-up, Warren said the doctors told her there was “no evidence of disease.”
