JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Illusionist and comedian Michael Carbonaro, best known for his hit truTV series The Carbonaro Effect, is bringing his unique brand of magic to Jacksonville.
Carbonaro will perform his live show, Carbonaro: Lies on Stage, at the Florida Theatre on Sunday, Sept. 28.

The tour combines sleight-of-hand tricks, comedy and audience interaction that has thrilled crowds across the country.
Carbonaro said his live performances allow fans to see a different side of his work.
“The live show…it’s similar to the TV show in that it’s a lot about playing with people. I’m bringing people up on stage, coming down into the crowd—it’s improvisational fun. And what’s different is you get to see there are no camera tricks when you see it live,” Carbonaro said.
The show is billed as family-friendly, mixing unbelievable illusions with playful, offbeat humor.
Carbonaro said Florida audiences in particular bring an energy that makes each stop memorable.
