ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – An unresponsive beachgoer was pulled from the water in St. Augustine on Thursday afternoon.
The St. Johns County Fire Rescue department said it was treating a patient who was found unresponsive in the water off A1A near Beach Boulevard and B Street sometime before noon.

The person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
