The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp’s colorful “Honey Drippers” alternate identity has been nominated for Minor League Baseball’s prestigious “Best New Alternate Identity 2025” award.

Fans can help the Honey Drippers claim victory through unlimited online voting, which runs until midnight ET on September 23. The winner will be revealed during the third annual MiLB Awards Show, airing on MLB Network on September 29 at 9 p.m. ET.

The vibrant blue, yellow, and pink-themed Honey Drippers identity pays homage to a beloved frozen dessert that has become a cultural touchstone in Jacksonville’s Eastside neighborhood. The playful logo features an anthropomorphized Honey Dripper wielding a spoon as a bat.

The nomination comes after a highly successful debut season that saw record-breaking attendance and merchandise sales. During the first Honey Drippers Weekend alone, more than 16,000 fans passed through the gates in just two days.

The Honey Drippers face stiff competition from other creative alternate identities, including:
