The caller described two cars that fled the area just after the shots were fired and deputies found and stopped one of the cars near County Road 220 and Lakeshore Boulevard.

CCSO said the suspect exited the passenger side and fled on foot while the driver was detained. The suspect was later found hiding behind the bushes of a nearby business. A gun was found in the area, and the suspect was taken into custody.

Officials said after they received the shots-fired call, a 19-year-old man arrived at the hospital in the second car from this incident. CCSO said he was shot one time and is in critical but stable condition.

Investigators said both parties agreed to meet at the Lakeshore Boat Ramp to fight over a dispute on social media. While the victim and two other occupants of the car were in the parking lot, the suspect fired several rounds into the car and hit the victim. The other two occupants were not injured.

CCSO said the suspect was charged with three counts of attempted murder and unlawfully possessing a weapon under the age of 18 and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence, and committing a 2nd degree felony or higher while wearing a mask or hood.
