PALATKA, Fla. – The Palatka Police Department (PPD) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement searched nine convenience stores, leading to the arrest of multiple people and seizure of illegal marijuana.
Officers issued search warrants Thursday at several convenience stores across Palatka following an investigation that involved undercover officers making marijuana purchases at the stores.

PPD said multiple individuals were arrested, along with the seizure of marijuana and plenty of cash and drug paraphernalia.
“This investigation is part of our continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from our community and holding accountable those who choose to engage in criminal activity,” Palatka Police Chief Jason Shaw said.
The police department did not specify which stores were involved in the investigation.
