JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman has been charged as an accessory after the fact in the deadly shooting of 38-year-old Kenneth “Kenny” Mobley Jr. outside a Jacksonville restaurant in June, police announced Sunday.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Natania Ribot, 24, was driving the vehicle used by the shooter to flee the scene.

Last month, police charged 24-year-old Josiah Luis Martinez with second-degree murder in the June 11 shooting in the parking lot near Copeland’s restaurant on Southside Boulevard.
Martinez’s arrest came six weeks after the deadly afternoon shooting that shocked diners and nearby shoppers. Mobley Jr. was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and later died at the hospital.
JSO said in a post on Sunday announcing Ribot’s arrest on the felony charge that Mobley was days from celebrating his 39th birthday when he was killed.
“If you participate in a violent crime, we will hold you accountable,” the post said. “Our detectives are dedicated to seeking justice for every victim of a violent crime and holding every person responsible for violence accountable.”

When Martinez’s arrest was announced last month, Mobley’s family indicated that they believed more people would be charged.
“I feel a whole lot better because I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t rest, I didn’t know what was happening,” said Kenneth Mobley Sr., the victim’s father, after Martinez’s arrest. “I just want to see the rest of them caught.”
Mobley Sr. shared the heartbreaking detail of speaking with his son just hours before the shooting.
“Me and him talked on the phone two hours before it happened,” Mobley Sr. said. “He was OK. I was supposed to help him move in a couple of days.”
While the family awaits further developments in the case, they’re focusing their energy on keeping Kenny’s memory alive. Their efforts include continuing his lawn service business and launching a clothing line called “MOB” in his honor.
The proceeds from the clothing line will support organizations that assist families of other victims, creating a lasting legacy from their loss.
JSO said anyone with information about the case is asked to call 904-630-0500.
