JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Almost one month after a woman lost her life following a hit-and-run on Jacksonville’s Northside, police say they have arrested someone, but are still working to identify the victim.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said its detectives learned that Durrell Bradley, 42, was the driver who hit the woman near Edgewood Avenue between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on July 21.
The woman was taken to the hospital by Jacksonville Fire Rescue crews, where she later died, police said at the time. Officials added that a black, four-door sedan was seen leaving the scene of the crash, heading toward I-95 South.

Bradley was arrested earlier in August and remains in jail, and faces a felony charge for leaving the scene of a deadly crash, police said.
Additionally, the agency shared a photo of the victim on social media and asks anyone who recognizes her to call their office immediately at 904-630-0500.
