NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash involving an overturned semi-truck on I-95 South in Nassau County, before State Road 200.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one person has been confirmed dead.

As of 12:10 p.m., all lanes of I-95 South were blocked in the area.
As of 2:50 p.m., one lane was back open.
The semi-truck was towed away from the scene just before 4 p.m. and all lanes were reopened.

According to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, multiple vehicles were involved in the crash near mile marker 375, just south of the Yulee weigh station.
For several hours, traffic was rerouted through Yulee. Drivers were told to expect delays and heavy congestion around US-17.
The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
