ORANGE PARK, Fla. – The Hagan Ace Hardware store in Orange Park that was destroyed in a fire in May will be rebuilt at its same location on Blanding Boulevard, the store announced in a Facebook post on Monday.
Store officials said the rebuilding is still in the early stages, and there is no exact timeline for its completion yet.

“One thing is certain - we’re committed to coming back stronger than ever! Your support, encouragement and loyalty mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back when the time comes,” the store wrote.
The Hagan Ace Hardware store went up in flames around 6:30 p.m. on May 23.
Crews immediately responded to the scene, working to extinguish the massive flames that produced heavy smoke that could be seen miles away.
The fire, which closed off Blanding Blvd. for hours, left 33 employees without the workplace they called home.
“They aren’t just employees, they are family. We take care of our family. None of them are losing any pay,” Lageman said back in May.
The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
