Man in his 20s fatally shot in Northwest Jacksonville: JSO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 20s was found shot Sunday night in Northwest Jacksonville and died at the hospital, according to police.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said officers were called to a reported shooting on Palmdale Street, north of Moncrief Road West, off Restlawn Drive, just before 9 p.m. Sunday.

They found a man in his late 20s with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, but he did not survive.

Investigators are working on gathering evidence, surveillance and any information on the shooter.
