St. Johns County deputy removes alligator from St. Augustine backyard pool, safely relocates it to nearby pond

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A St. Johns County deputy on Saturday removed an alligator from a St. Augustine resident’s backyard pool.

The alligator can be seen hissing and attempting to break free from Deputy Richardson’s grasp before it was buckled in and safely relocated to a nearby pond with no residents.
