Glynn County juvenile accused of theft from cars; 2 guns, other stolen items found in bedroom

GLYNN COUNTY, Fla. – The Glynn County Police Department arrested a 13-year-old in connection with multiple reports of thefts from vehicles.

In June 2025, police responded to the Somersby Pointe subdivision after reports of stolen items, including a firearm, from cars.

GCPD reviewed residential security camera footage and identified a 13-year-old juvenile as a suspect in the thefts.

Officials said two firearms and other stolen items were found in the juvenile’s bedroom. One of the guns was reported stolen in another Georgia county.

On July 15, the 13-year-old was interviewed at the GCPD Headquarters and was charged with two counts of Theft Entering an Automobile and two counts of Possession of a Handgun by a Person Under the Age of 18.

The juvenile is being held at a youth detention center.
