JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl and crack cocaine while armed to an undercover Jacksonville sheriff’s officer six times, according to the Department of Justice.
Thomas Edgar Hall, 36, pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of fentanyl and two counts of possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. Hall faces a minimum sentence of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison.

Officials said from May through August 2024, Hall sold the drugs six times to the undercover officer. He was armed or had ready access to a firearm on each occasion.
The DOJ said the home where the drug transactions took place was searched. They found six firearms, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, including beakers, mirrors, razors, and blenders containing drug residue.
They also found crack cocaine and over 60 grams of fentanyl.
