I-95 ramp at MLK Parkway to remain closed for overpass repairs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The ramp from Interstate 95 northbound to Marin Luther King Jr. Parkway westbound will remain closed due to repairs, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

FDOT said on Tuesday the ramp will remain closed due to a recent over-height vehicle strike and added the closure is necessary to safely accommodate ongoing construction repair activities.

The work is expected to take one to two months to complete, according to FDOT.

Drivers can continue northbound on I-95 to the Golfair Boulevard exit, then take the I-95 southbound to access Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway westbound.

The work is part of the interchange improvements project, which began in September 2023 and is expected to be completed by early 2027.
