MACCLENNY, Fla. – Two men are facing first-degree murder and other charges after a 19-year-old who was injured in a double shooting on June 26 in Macclenny died in the hospital, court records show.
Jamarian Byrd, 22, and Travis Roberts Jr., 24, are charged in the death of 19-year-old Devin Powers Jr., who died on July 2, several days after the shooting on Quail Lane and South Boulevard in Macclenny.

The shooting also injured a 14-year-old who was treated and released from the hospital, deputies said.
In addition to first-degree murder, Byrd and Roberts are charged with aggravated battery, three counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, and one count of discharging a firearm in public.
Investigators said when they first reported the shooting that shortly before the gunfire, one of the teens was assaulted and robbed, and a handgun was stolen from him.
Detectives identified and arrested a 22-year-old man in the robbery, but he has not been charged in the shooting.
In a message to the public, Sheriff Scotty Rhoden extended “his heartfelt condolences to the family of DJ Powers” and reminded “the community that gun violence has no place in Baker County.”
