2 teen girls wounded when argument leads to shooting in Dinsmore area: JSO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two teenage girls were wounded Thursday night when an argument led to gunfire, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said that around 9:15 p.m., officers were called to Lancashire Drive in the Dinsmore area of Jacksonville because of a reported shooting.

They found the two young women, both in their late teens, suffering from gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening. One girl was shot in the chest and both legs, and the other was wounded in the right leg and neck.

Investigators said they learned one of the teens had been in an argument with a guy that became heated and led to the shooting.

Police said they had someone in custody, and it appeared this was an isolated incident.
