Drivers talked about what traffic was like.
“Traffic’s alright, I live across the street, so it’s not too far, we’re headed to Jax Beach, probably like a 45-minute to an hour drive,” Taylor said. “We have very nice weather and the traffic has been very light for us and we have been able to do our time.”
Another driver said coming in, there was some traffic but not too much.
“It was six hours, I slept for a few hours, dad took a wrong turn, so we had to turn back,” Tatum said.
As many hit the road to get to popular events, some are opting to avoid the roads.
“Around here, it is hectic, there is a lot of traffic, there’s a lot of people, and I love that everybody is here and I love they’re doing their thing, it’s just a bit much for this old guy,” Bill Harris said.
People said they’re looking at the forecast more than the roads since there’s rain in the forecast.
“Hopefully the rest of the weekend is sunny like right now,” Taylor said.
