JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it detained a man Saturday in connection to a business robbery and that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
Officials said at around 11:50 a.m., a business robbery was reported in the 100 block of Bush Drive. Police said a man walked in and demanded money from a representative, giving them a note saying that they had a weapon.

The representative complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of money. JSO said no one was hurt and no weapon was displayed.
The man was described with a reddish-auburn beard in his late 30s, approximately 5′8″wearing a ball cap and a green t-shirt.
A K-9 unit responded shortly after the 911 call and a white Honda driven by a suspect matching the description fled the scene and was detained.
