ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County officials announced on Friday they will implement a 45-day single-lane closure on County Road 208 starting June 30.

According to officials, the road near the intersection of Terra Pine Boulevard will close one lane to complete the tie-in of the CR 208 realignment with Elevation Parkway.

Officials said the closure is “necessary to safely connect the newly constructed section of CR 208 to the existing roadway and the new Elevation Parkway.”

Message boards will be installed ahead of a closure to alert drivers and minimize disruptions.

Temporary traffic signals will be used to navigate traffic flow through the closure.
