Residents had self-evacuated and told first responders the attic caught fire after a lightning strike, officials said.

According to the fire department, the residents are being supported by the local church, Grace Fellowship.

“BCFR thanks the public for prayers for the family who lost their home and for the protection over our men and women,” the department wrote.

No one was injured in the fire, and all animals are safe.
