JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A popular hotel and restaurant that is also a popular wedding destination in Jacksonville Beach is under contract to be sold, News4JAX confirmed Monday.
The historic landmark, Casa Marina Hotel, is celebrating 100 years.
News4JAX wanted to see how the pending sale would affect people who may have already planned to have a wedding at the venue next year.
A statement from someone representing the owners said, “The hotel is under contract to sell and has a wonderful planned renovation for 2026, hence the need for the reservations to be cancelled.”
News4JAX also asked how it would impact clients.
“While we wish we could accommodate the planned events for 2026, we are excited to share with the Beaches and Jacksonville community the fantastic renovations that are planned,” the statement read. “No 2025 events will be affected by the renovations.”
It’s unclear when the pending sale will be finalized.
No other details were immediately available.
