Drivers who are westbound on Emerson Street will detour via Phillips Highway.

This comes after a huge construction project being done on I-95.

The construction won’t end until Spring 2028, and it’s costing taxpayers $247 million.

Some of the goals of the project include getting five travel lanes on I-95 southbound and northbound, raising I-95’s profile to improve sight distance, and updating traffic signals.
