According to the agency, deputies were called to a home on Duck Lake Drive around 9:30 p.m. when Jeremy Eugene Darity physically attacked someone in the driveway of their home.

Then, another person became aware of the incident and confronted Darity, deputies said. That person was then stabbed multiple times.

A third person attempted to break up the fight between Darity and the second stabbing victim, and in the process, received stab wounds themselves.

All victims and the suspect knew each other, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office added.

The first and third victims were not seriously injured; however, the second stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital by a witness for treatment of serious injuries.

Darity is being held at a jail in Nassau County on a $600,000 bond.
