Jacksonville National Cemetery to host Memorial Day observance with music, keynote speaker, and flyover

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville National Cemetery is hosting a Memorial Day observance on Saturday, May 24 at 9:30 a.m.

It’s located on 4083 Lannie Road in Jacksonville.

To ensure parking and seating, it’s best to arrive by 8:45 a.m.

The event will feature patriotic music played by a U.S. Navy Band.

The keynote speaker is Captain Robert “Bob” Buehn, who is a Retired U.S. Naval Aviator. He’s currently an adjunct professor for the US Naval War College and a former Chief of Military Affairs for the City of Jacksonville.

There will be a Fly Over by The Dreamland Squadron of Retired Naval & Air Force Aviators, and Firing Detail & TAPS by the VFW Jacksonville Beaches Honor Guard Team.
