JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A water outage is scheduled for Jacksonville Beach residents on Monday night to address ongoing infrastructure upgrades.
The outage will last from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. along 6th Ave S and 7th Ave S, between 5th St S and 2nd St S.

The city said crews will be completing water main connections and service transfers.
Once service is restored, residents may notice temporarily discolored water. The city recommends running the bathtub or shower for a few minutes and cleaning any faucet strainers if needed.
