Police said Carol Carroll stabbed 73-year-old Robert Tucker multiple times at the Morris Manors Apartments on Norfolk Boulevard and is now facing a murder charge.
Carroll has been booked into jail while the investigation continues, JSO added.
On Tuesday, shortly after 2 a.m., officers were called to the Morris Manors Apartments, where Tucker was found with stab wounds on the floor of the lobby.
While investigating, JSO said its officers noticed a trail of blood extending from Tucker’s location to a specific unit where they found Carroll.
“After speaking with Carroll and reviewing the evidence at the scene, our Homicide detectives arrested her for Tucker’s murder,“ JSO said.
The agency added that Tucker and Carroll knew each other prior to the fatal incident.
