St. Johns County encourages community to participate in series of budget workshops

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – St. Johns County officials invited the public to participate in a series of budget workshops for Fiscal Year 2026.

The workshops will be held May 8 through May 13 at the St. Johns County Administration Building in St. Augustine.

According to the city, there will be limited in-person public seating in the San Sebastian Conference Room. However, there will be additional public seating to watch it live on this website.

Here’s the schedule of the budget workshops:

  • Thursday, May 8, 1 to 5 p.m.: Health & Human Services, Office of Performance & Transparency, Purchasing and Contract Management, Economic Development, Public Works, and Solid Waste. 
  • Friday, May 9, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Building Services and Code Enforcement, Growth Management, Medical Examiner, and Utility Services. 
  • Friday, May 9, 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Health Department, Administration / Board of County Commissioners / Office of Management & Budget, Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and Office of Public Affairs.  
  • Monday, May 12, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Library Services, Parks & Recreation, County Attorney, and Management Information. Systems.  
  • Monday, May 12, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Community Partners, including Community Redevelopment Agencies and Main Streets.
  • Tuesday, May 13, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Public Safety, Human Resources and Risk Management, Agricultural Extension Services, and Veterans Services. 
  • Tuesday, May 13, 2 to 5 p.m.: Facilities Management, Land Management, Emergency Management/ Coastal Management / Disaster Recovery, and Tourism and Development.
