Visitors to the show included Terry Akras from St. Augustine, who has been attending the event for about 10 to 15 years.

“The people, the boats, the giveaways they have,” Akras said. “We’ve done different excursions from giveaways that they’ve given us, you know, little brochures, and then we’ve gone and done things, and we’ve learned a lot.”

Meredith Droukas-Bell, a sales representative from Waylen Bay Marine, highlighted the variety of boats available.

“We have over 50 boats with Waylen Bay Marine, anything from bay boats to offshore boats to flats boats,” she explained, adding that, “it’s just a good place to come get some sun, have some fun, and look at boats.”

Droukas-Bell noted that the most popular models at the show were the 26 and 28 offshore boats made by Sea Fox. “There are people that are looking for a flats boat, and then some people are looking for like a 26 offshore boat,” she added.

Sunday’s event marked the end of the spring edition of the Jacksonville Boat Show. The event will return for its winter edition from January 22 to 25, 2026.
