CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Easter Sunday.
Around 9:52 p.m., deputies responded to a traffic crash with injuries at 1340 Akron Oaks Drive, where the vehicle had gone into the front yard.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the driver had been shot.
The condition of the driver is unknown.
CCSO says the shooter has been identified but is not in custody at this time.
There is no threat to the public as the victim and the suspect knew each other, according to CCSO.
