ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating reports of tire spikes near a bicycle path in Ponte Vedra Beach.

SJSO said on Thursday night it had received two reports of punctured tires near the bicycle path at Crosswater Parkway and Bluewater Drive.

The Tolomato Community Development District was helping with cleanup and implemented measures to locate spikes, according to officials.

Deputies asked the community to be careful when biking and using the path near Crosswater Parkway and Bluewater Drive.
