Friendship Fountain reopens Thursday after maintenance work

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The city of Jacksonville announced that Friendship Fountain will reopen to the public on Thursday at noon.

The city temporarily closed the fountain for maintenance updates and improvements.

The fountain received a fresh paint job and mechanical upgrades to enhance its operation and appearance.

The improvements also included final preparations for the new playground at St. Johns River Park, which will open on Saturday.
