JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Thousands of people are expected to flock to Jacksonville Beach for the annual Springing the Blues music festival.
The three-day event runs April 4-6 at the SeaWalk Pavilion. It features national, regional, and local blues artists on two stages.

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department says officers will patrol the event to ensure safety. They also want to remind attendees of the following rules:
- No animals are allowed inside the festival area, except for qualified service animals.
- Tents, umbrellas, backpacks, and coolers are not permitted.
- No outside beverages or food are allowed into the festival.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of the festival area.
- Bicycles and skateboards are prohibited within the festival area.
- Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated; violators may be subject to arrest.
- All packages, purses, bags, and persons are subject to search at any time.
