The event was hosted by the Bold City and Jacksonville chapters of the Links Incorporated.

The day was filled with health and wellness activities for the whole family, from financial literacy classes to health screenings and food giveaways.

“Our mission is to educate the Black population on the key health topics that impact the community...we feel like if we can help bring the education and the information to the community, they’ll be most likely to take action for themselves to improve their health and wellness,” Candace Thompson, the president of the Jacksonville chapter said.
