FDLE announces arrests of 18 sexual predators and offenders in Alachua, Columbia counties

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced 18 arrests of sexual predators and sexual offenders as part of two joint investigations across Alachua and Columbia counties on Thursday.

The investigations spanned a total of seven days, focusing on warrant checks, confirmation of immigration status, and identifying potential registration violations.

During a three-day operation known as “Operation Cleanse the Swamp” in Alachua County, FDLE and ACSO investigators visited 134 addresses to confirm compliance with Florida’s registration laws for sexual offender and predator registrants. Multiple registrants were arrested for failing to comply with these laws. Six offenders were transported to the Alachua County jail, while two were turned over to immigration officials.

In a separate four-day operation called “Operation Spring Fever” in Columbia County, FDLE and CCSO investigators checked 345 addresses for compliance with Florida’s registration laws. This operation resulted in 10 arrests, including eight sexual offenders and two sexual predators, with 281 addresses verified.

The following sexual offenders and predators were arrested during these operations:

  • Cendrick Lerone Williams, sexual offender
  • Khristine Juanita Valerino, sexual predator
  • Cuncy Dillard, sexual offender
  • Kyl Lee Johnson, sexual offender
  • Eddie Lawrence Bradley, sexual predator
  • Matthew Williams, sexual predator
  • Felipe Dominguez, sexual offender
  • Michael Steve Willis, sexual offender
  • James Andrew Depoe, sexual offender
  • Ronald Wilton Riggs, sexual offender
  • Jimmy Mazon, sexual offender
  • Rufus Ray, sexual offender
  • Jonathon Leigh Crary, sexual offender
  • Todd Johnson, sexual offender
  • Kevin Lopez Quintero, sexual offender
  • Wladimir Symonette, sexual offender

FDLE’s Enforcement and Investigative Support (EIS) Unit collaborates with sheriff’s offices, police departments, and federal law enforcement across Florida to verify compliance with registration laws. These laws require sex offenders and predators to report to their local sheriff’s office and provide information including residential addresses, telephone numbers, vehicle information, internet identifiers, photographs, passports, and conviction details.
