TALLAHASSE, Fla. – The Florida lottery announced Thursday that a 39-year-old woman from Jacksonville claimed the prize from the $1,000,000 a Year For Life Spectacular Scratch-Off game.
She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump sum of $640,000.

She purchased her winning ticket from Vakok Asian Grocery at 5757 Beney Road, located in Jacksonville.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The $50 Scratch-Off game features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 smaller payments of $1 million.
The game is filled with more than $1.6 billion in cash prizes, and the overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
The Florida Lottery said scratch-off games are a crucial part of the lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising nearly 74% of ticket sales from 2023 to 2024.
Scratch-off games have awarded more than $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated more than $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, the Florida Lottery said.
