City of St. Augustine to begin accepting applications for Neighborhood Grants Program

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The City of St. Augustine said on Wednesday it will begin accepting applications for the Neighborhood Grants Program starting April 1.

According to the city, the program gives funding up to $3,000 to formally and informally organized non-profit organizations that help with small-scale neighborhood improvement, enrichment, and enhancement projects or events.

The funds are designed to empower neighborhood organizations to plan and implement community initiatives, the city said in a release.

Applications close on Tuesday, April 15.

Applications will be accepted in the City of St. Augustine Neighborhood Services and CRA Division office via email at NGP@citystaug.com, by mail, or in person.

Approved applications that meet minimum guidelines and requirements will be reviewed by the Neighborhood Grants Program Award Committee (NGPAC).
