The utility said traffic will be detoured around the work zone until repairs are completed, adding that it expected the roadway to be closed until around 8 p.m. on Wednesday; however, in an update around 4 p.m., the utility said that during the water main repair, crews needed to remove part of the roadway in order to complete the work, which will extend the repair and restoration time.
