JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duval County Public Schools opened bus registration on Monday and there’s a change to who must register.
Now, all students, including students in a self-contained ESE program, must be registered for transportation each year before they may ride a bus.
Note: You must have a Linked Parent Account in order to register for a bus.
- Log into the parent/guardian Focus account and select your child’s name.
- Select Child Info.
- Select Forms.
- Select 2025-26 Transportation Registration Form.
- Review address. Note that the primary address is used to determine the bus assignment.
- If the address is correct: Go to “I am requesting bus stop transportation for my student” and select Yes.
- If the address is not correct: Contact your child’s school to update before proceeding.
- Click Submit Request.
Repeat these steps for any additional students in the family.
The registration steps are the same for ESE students. However, if an alternate address is needed for transportation, click the link provided on the form to submit the request to ESE Placement.
Alternate Address: If your student is in a general education class setting and an alternate address request is needed, complete the registration form first. Then contact the transportation office at 904-858-6200, option 1.
Ten business days after registering your student, but not before Monday, July 28, bus stop information will be available in Focus.
Bus stop information is only available if a student is eligible and registered for transportation.
Below are the steps to view bus information
- Log in to your Focus Account
- Select your child’s name
- Select Child Info
- Select Transportation from the list.
DCPS encourages families to register as early as possible to ensure their child will have a bus stop by the first day of school, which is Aug. 11.
