JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Fire Rescue said a pedestrian died Wednesday evening after being hit by an Amtrak train on Jacksonville’s Westside.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said all of eastbound Timuquana Road near Roosevelt Boulevard will be closed due to the accident, and there is no timetable for reopening.
