3 semis, car destroyed in business fire in Commonwealth area: JFRD

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three tractor-trailers and a car were destroyed in an intense fire Saturday morning at a business near Wiles Road and Lennon Street in the Commonwealth area, according to Jacksonville firefighters.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the business fire around 8:47 a.m.

Despite the intensity of the fire, no injuries were reported.

A trailer building on the property also caught fire, but it appears no one was there at the time, authorities said.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, and the Fire Marshal has been called in.
