JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Fairgrounds is officially under new ownership as Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan’s Iguana Investments Florida LLC has purchased the 14.1-acre property.
The over $15 million purchase, completed on Feb. 5, included two downtown properties: one at 510 Fairgrounds Place, which is 13.36 acres and has three buildings built in 1990. And another property at 550 A. Philip Randolph Boulevard that is 0.74 acre and has a warehouse built in 1991, according to News4JAX’s news partner, the Jacksonville Daily Record.

The former Jacksonville fair site is expected to bring 1,600 additional parking spaces for Jaguars games and other events, the JDR reported.
