JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 40s was recovering from a gunshot wound in the leg after two men drove up to him and started shooting, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The man, who is in stable condition, told police he was walking on Edgewood Avenue Thursday afternoon when he noticed a white sedan following him around 5:30 p.m.

He continued walking toward Columbus Avenue when two men got out of the vehicle and started shooting. Police said, they returned to their vehicle and drove away.
Paramedics found the man lying on the ground and took him to hospital.
Police said he is cooperating with the early investigation.
