Was he your contractor? JSO wants to know after arrest of man accused of scamming customers out of thousands

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is putting a call out for anyone to speak up if they’ve been a potential victim of a recently arrested contractor.

Johan Portilla-Guzman is the owner of Pro-Remodeling, and according to JSO, he is known to pose as a licensed contractor to homeowners and then scam them out of tens of thousands of dollars by not completing the work.

Portilla-Guzman was arrested and faces charges of organized fraud.
