GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – The Glynn County Board of Commissioners said on Friday it was assessing the amount of debris left behind by this week’s winter storm and will decide on the removal process once a cost estimate is generated.
Officials said residents dealing with storm debris may collect it and place it in the curbside so that it’s ready to be picked up once the removal process begins.

Glynn County officials also asked residents to be mindful of the following:
- Only organic, storm-related debris – i.e. tree limbs - will be removed. Comingled piles, household trash, tires or excessive construction debris will not be removed during this debris removal operation.
- Debris should not be bagged or mixed in with other garbage or yard waste
- Do not block right of ways (streets or sidewalks); put debris at curb
- The county will make only a single pass for collection of debris from the winter storm
Once the removal plans and start dates are finalized, officials will provide more updates.
Officials said this service is limited to residents and businesses of Glynn County only and does not include addresses in Brunswick.
