NAHUNTA, Ga. – The Nahunta Police Department said it is searching for a missing 15-year-old who was last seen on Thursday.
Police said Nahlani “Angel” Santiago was reported missing by her family on Friday and provided officers with a note indicating that she intended to harm herself.

She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a moon and star accompanied by pink and black pajama pants. Police said she also may be wearing a camouflage jacket and black cloth boots while carrying a black Mercedes-Benz Adidas backpack.
Police add that Nahlani has been known to frequent The Rink of Waycross, and ask the community to check their property and any vacant homes or cabinets that may have signs of the missing teen.
They also urged the community to monitor their child’s social media accounts for any additional information.
"The Nahunta Police Department has interviewed several family members and friends of Nahlani,“ the agency said. ”Investigators have also canvassed the neighborhood along with several area businesses for video and have been utilizing digital forensics to help determine Nahlani’s whereabouts."
