“I’m going to be heading back and taking care of a lot of friends,” said Miller, who does the news on The Adam Carolla Show. Currently, Carolla is evacuated due to the fire.

“My home’s okay. By the will of God, my home’s okay, but a lot of friends are not so lucky,” said Miller. During the interview with Host Scott Johnson, Miller said he was getting regular updates. “My phone is spazzing out right now in my pocket, I can feel it.”

California firefighters are dealing with four fires in the Los Angeles region: The Eaton, Hurst, Kenneth, and Palisades fires, which have scorched nearly 40,000 acres and displaced countless residents.

Containment on the Hurst and Eaton fires have surpassed 75%, but the Eaton and Palisades fires remain under 20%.

The flames have caused at least 11 deaths, officials said, who add that it’s not safe to assess the true fatality total yet as the flames continue to rage through Southern California.

Miller’s full interview on Going Ringside will be released on Wednesday.
